PROSPECTUM produces high quality virtual organs (playable virtual reconstructions of real instruments) for the Hauptwerk virtual organ platform
from Martin Dyde and Hauptwerk 1 compatible sample players.
We would like to bring the sound of these organs to as many people as possible and promote interest in pipe
organs and pipe organ music. Furthermore, we contribute to organ restauration and maintenance.
Making money is not our primary concern. Profits are invested in the production of future sample sets, research and equipment.
We have a donationware concept:
Every virtual organ is available at a relatively low minimum donation. This is supposed to make our virtual organs affordable for practically everybody. If you order a virtual organ and feel that it is worth more than the minimum donation, please make another donation according to what you feel the virtual organ is worth for you.

Please note :
Despite the high quality and very realistic sound of our virtual organs,
a sample set is just a modern kind of "sound documentation" which is
not and will never be a substitute to a real pipe organ - just like
listening to a CD is not a 100% substitute to attending a real concert.
The art of organ building - especially when it comes to real masterpieces
- can only be fully experienced by visiting and listening to / playing
the organs themselves.
However, in most cases this is not possible. Then, judging by replies
from enthusiastic PROSPECTUM sample set users, a virtual organ is a
useful, instructive and entertaining alternative. |
