GERNOT's HAPPY BIRTHDAY ORGAN

This is a small fictuous 11-stop organ based on samples from the St. Johannes sample set.
It uses 5 stops from St. Johannes, while the other 6 ones are borrowed stops.
Being a kind of present to all the people who supported (and will probably support) the PROSPECTUM project, you may download it for free.

About this sample set :

All samples have been taken from the St. Johannes sample set.
This sample set has been recorded in 96kHz/24bit using Schoeps CMC5/Mk21 microphones and DBX 386 preamps.

The St. Johannes sample set is very special because it is ABSOLUTELY DRY (CONTAINS NO REVERBERATION !) and TRUE STEREO at the same time.
50 m² of absorbing foam were used to damp the reverberation of the gothic Ostchor of St. Johannes, where the organ is placed.
That way we were able to create a sample set which is just ideal for

- playing with a maximum of articulation possibilities (Staccati, very fast parts etc. sound much more natural)
- practising purposes (because of the very clear sound)
- use together with artificial reverberation gear

Furthermore, PROSPECTUM is going to create many additional stops and a 3-manual definition file which will be downloadable for free.
