THE 1895 CARL SCHÄFER ORGAN IN NECKARSULM

This organ calls the Frauenkirche in Neckarsulm its home. It is one of these sweet little instruments which are often underestimated - and one of the few instruments in this region that have survived both world wars as well as the "Orgelbewegung".
(Unfortunately the other Carl Schäfer organ of Neckarsulm (in Obereisesheim) from 1861 has suffered this fate - all the original pipework has been thrown away and replaced in the 1970s.)
A few years ago the church and the instrument have been lovingly restored.

There are 4 manual stops and one pedal stop, but as common with these small organs, it has an "Oktavkoppel" coupler which inceases registration possibilities.

About this sample set :

This sample set has been recorded in 96kHz/24bit using Schoeps CMC5/Mk21 microphones and DBX 386 preamps.
It contains a little natural reverberation.

This is an extended 2 manual instrument. It comes with many extension stops - and of course with the "original" definition file.
Key and pedal action noises have been recorded separately. Included are versions of the definition files which include / don't include action noises. So it is your choice whether you want to have them included or not
